Turnout is a road connect device of transferring locomotive from one railway to anther railway, it always be seen in station and switchyard. Railway can perform its trafficability with turnout. Even the monorail, laid switch, building a cross section longer than the length of train, it can split the train. Turnout have some characteristic, such as large quantity, complex structure, less working life, limit speed, low safety, turnout and curve and splice are called three weak links. It has three fundamental forms: the connect of railway , the cross of railway, combination of connect and cross. Simple Turnout is the most one. It contains trip switch, connect part, frog and three parts of guardrail. It is been known, when wheel passed frog, there is a gap between the narrowest point of two wings rails and the sharpest of frog centre, it is the gap in the turnout. When train passed this place, it may run off the rails because of running wrong frog flangeway. The destination of turnout is forcing to guide wheel running direction.
