System configuration
OWT-1011-2 type X-ray thickness gauge for steel is constituted of primary instrument, secondary instrument and affiliated equipments. Figure 1 is the sketch for OWT-1011-2 type thickness gauge. The primary instrument includes: mechanical part, X-ray emitter and detector. The affiliated equipments include cooling system and alternating current stabilized-voltage power.

Mechanical part (Figure 2) is constituted of C shape shelf and mobile guide rail of C-shape shelf. C-shape shelf is moved on-line or off-line through manual pulling. There is wheel installed at the bottom of C-shape shelf which makes the shelf move in flexible and convenient way. The mobile guide rail of the C-shape shelf (angle steel) shall be supplied by the client.

X-ray tube, high-voltage power supply and detector

The X-ray emitter device is integrated and imported from the America, which could be used in a stable and reliable way. X-ray emitter device could emit rays after it is empowered. After the power supply is cut, no X-ray could be emitted, because there are no other influencing factors, such as high-voltage.
Note :it is prohibited that X-ray emitting source be taken out from inside.
The cylinder above the X-ray tube and inside the C-shape shelf is the detector, where the X-ray detector was installed - ionization chamber and pre-amplification circuit.
Note :it is recommended not to open the probe, otherwise, the consequences shall be borne by the client.
When necessary, the probe could be open for debugging upon the guidance of technical staff. During operation, special attention shall be paid not to scratching the aluminum windows under the detector. Super surface above X-ray emitter shall be cleaned often.
