Character:
Under normal conditions, it is a colorless viscous liquid, almost tasteless, with a slightly sweet smell. Propylen glycol can be used as a raw material for unsaturated polyester resin, and can be used as a wetting agent in combination with glycerin or sorbitol in cosmetics, toothpaste and soap. It is used in hair dye as a humidity control and hair leveling agent, also as an antifreeze agent, and also used in cellophane, plasticizer and pharmaceutical industry

Main application:
Propylen glycol is often used in the pharmaceutical industry as a solvent, softener and excipient for the manufacture of various ointments and ointments, and as a solvent for blending agents, preservatives, ointments, vitamins, and penicillin in the pharmaceutical industry. Because propylen glycol has good miscibility with various spices, it is also used as a solvent and softener for cosmetics, etc.

Storage:
Although this product does not spontaneously ,it is combustible. Long-term storage does not deteriorate, but the opening absorbs moisture. Storage and transportation containers should be made of galvanized iron drums, aluminum or stainless steel. Store and transport according to the regulations of general low-toxic chemicals. Avoid contact with water and humid environment. Storage tanks must be kept clean, dry and free from rust. It must be stored in a place with dikes, ventilation, and away from sunlight, open flames and other heat sources. For large storage tanks (capacity of 100 m3 or above), nitrogen blanketing is recommended. Keep container tightly closed. Keep dry.
